Faces

Creating portraits has always been a delight for me, and the craving to make them often comes after encountering an individual that I feel inspired to depict.  I enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and telling their story through a portrait.  I typically focus on the face, with color, line and composition adding to their story.  The style may vary, but I always strive to capture a piece of the individual that goes beyond their appearance. 

This collection features originals, though most pieces are available as open-edition prints on a variety of surfaces through my print-on-demand site or as small prints in my Darcy Lee Art Shop.
